The entire “Resident Evil” series is coming to Italian Steelbook in January
While Zavvi have picked up UK exclusive Project PopArt releases of the sequels, distribution rights complications mean that the first Resident Evil movie won’t be included in that collection.
Now there’s another option, with these new Italian releases of all five movies, with different, though at least matching, art.

Gutted that zavi won’t be getting the 1st film. I prefer the pop art steels ?
It has English as a language option so even if I buy the Italian versions can I still watch in English? Might sound a stupid question but don’t want to waste money if not

My contact at Zavvi (who’s in a position to know definitively) had told me they’re pulled temporarily and will be relisted again.
Based on similar events in the past, customer services don’t always know the full story….
