Lionsgate is resurrecting 80s label Vestron to bring us new releases of cult favourites in August

Loading...No doubt wanting a slice of the cult movie restoration pie that has been baked so well by the likes of Arrow, Second Sight, 88 Films, Scream Factory, Indicator and others, Lionsgate are bringing back the legendary 80s label Vestron to release a range of newly restored, classic genre movies.
The first batch is coming on August 28th.
We’re getting the fantastic Return of The Living Dead III, Waxwork, Blood Diner and C.H.U.D. 2. All come complete with a host of extras, including commentaries, interviews, and documentaries.
There are no plans yet for steelbook releases, as far as we know, but if we show our support for these releases who knows what might come along in the future…
We’ll hopefully have reviews of at least one of these releases in the next week or so, so stay tuned!
