UPDATED – Evil Dead (2013) heading to UK Steelbook in August as a Zavvi exclusive

UPDATE – some other retailers were listing this, but Zavvi have now confirmed they have it as an exclusive.
Evil Dead, the most recent entry in the classic horror franchise, has been a box office hit, with a follow-up already in the works, and right now, you can pre-order the UK Steelbook release.

The disc is set for release on August 5th, though other details are sketchy, with artwork, extras and still TBC, but it does appear you’ll at least get a DVD copy of the film as well as the Blu-ray.

Given that the new movie is produced by the series creators Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Robert Tapert, and going on the great extras included on the original trilogy’s various releases, we can expect a good selection of special features here, and we’ll update once we know more!
