Check out Zavvi’s box set blowout and get some bargains
Zavvi have a launched a new sale, in the form of a box set blowout, and a look through shows a few definite bargains.
There’s plenty to choose from, but a few highlights we spotted:
- Alien Anthology – Stunning box set with all 4 movies, and the most exhaustive (and brutally honest, in the case of Alien 3) behind the scenes documentaries you’ll ever see – An absolute steal at £13.99
- X-Men and The Wolverine Adamantium Collection – All the X-Men movies up to The Wolverine (Days of Future Past not included), includes the extended 2D and theatrical 3D versions of The Wolverine – 6 Movies, £15.99. Bargain
- Millennium – Season 1 – 3 Box Set – this one is DVD (let’s hope Fox treat this to an HD remastering soon, as the have done with sister show The X-Files), but it’s a personal favourite of mine, so I’m including it here. Darker than the X-Files, and one of the first true horror shows on TV, it really did push the boundaries for network TV in the States. 18 discs of dread await – £18.99
