So the limited edition I pre ordered on day one to make sure I got a copy was a complete waste of time if they just print more, surely that’s false advertising at the very least

  2. As far as I’m concerned, I was lucky enough to grab a copy of this first time round. If this gives people who missed out a chance to get one I’m all for it. It’s a great set.

If people (present company excepted, of course) are complaining because now their copy is possibly worth less, then they’re not really collectors buying for the love of it. They’re investors, or speculators, hoping for a profit.

Steelbook Blu Ray News I agree. I never buy anything because it’s rare or it’s supposedly worth a value. I buy something, watch it and then it goes on a shelf and I may not even think about it again for a few months

Anything I buy I assume will lose value, if it doesn’t or gains value then it’s irrelevant because I don’t plan to sell it. If I did, it’s down to what others are willing to pay anyway

1000 or 2000 of something is still very limited and the two sets inside aren’t as limited as they are available separately

With all the damaged ones, it’s already more limited anyway and a lot of people have missed out because people like myself have had to have another copy to replace a damaged one

There are other steelbooks which have been reprinted months after and unless I read about it, I may never notice
