“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey – Extended Edition” getting a UK region free Steelbook release in November

The first film in Peter Jackson’s epic adaptation of The Hobbit hits Blu-ray in the UK on November 4th, and you can order an equally epic 5-Disc Extended Edition Steelbook.

With approx 13 minutes of extra footage put back into the film itself, and over 9 hours of extras, the set includes 3D and 2D versions of the movie, as well as a digital copy. Best of all for fans over-seas, the release is region free!
