Danny Boyle’s horror classic “28 Days Later” is getting a UK 4K Steelbook release

With the long-awaited 28 Years Later almost with us, this year you’ll also be able to pick up this new 4K Steelbook release of Danny Boyle’s original, 28 Days Later.
Given that the bulk of the film was shot on standard definition video, there are definite limits on how good this release will look, but with some careful remastering work it should still be an improvement on previous releases (see Second Sight’s recent release of The Blair Witch Project to see what wonders can be done with access to the original tapes). Fingers crossed at least!
