Zavvi are bringing us a “Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back” exclusive 4K Steelbook

In news that will shock no one, Zavvi are indeed continuing with their range of Star Wars 4K steelbooks, and next up it’s The Empire Strikes Back, widely regarded as one of the best sequels ever made.
Once again it will use original poster art, in this case an early teaser poster featuring Darth Vader.
Once again you’ll get the movie on 4K and Blu-ray, along with a third disc of extras.
Pre-orders are due to go live at Zavvi on Thursday May 21st so ignore any ‘sold out’ notices before then.
They’ll be live around 9am UK time for Red Carpet subscribers (though possibly earlier, so keep an eye on our Twitter feed, just in case…), and around 12 noon for everyone else. The Rebels scatter after the Empire attacks their base on the ice planet Hoth. Han Solo and Princess Leia are pursued by Imperials, while Luke trains with Jedi Master Yoda. Luke battles Darth Vader and learns the shocking truth of his past.

I like the teaser artwork, yes they could have chosen something better but it is the first poster released in 1979. So can see why they chose it. Maybe ROTJ will have the lightsaber teaser.

Horrible choice. This throws off the first one. If you could get then permission to get the art for all three. Then why have this in the first place? Hope they change this.
