HMV are bringing us an exclusive 4-Disc “Spider-Man: Homecoming” 4K Steelbook

Loading...After a brief but memorable introduction to the MCU in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man’s new solo movie is with us, riding high on a tide of extremely positive reviews.
While there will also be a trade-wide 2D & 3D steelbook release (with different artwork), HMV are bringing us their own exclusive 4-disc edition, featuring the movie on 4K disc (a first for an MCU movie, thanks to this being a Sony, rather than Disney, release) as well as 2D & 3D Blu-ray, AND a Blu-ray bonus disc, AND a limited edition comic book.
Final art, extras and release date are still TBC, but pre-orders are live right now.

Each retailer is allocated a fixed number by the studio
Zoom still have some as they aren’t as well known.
Anyone going to HMV will order their exclusive, so with Zavvi as the most well known is entirely likely they’ve sold out of their allocation

I have preordered the HMV and Zavvi and I’ll decide closer to the time which to purchase. Both look nice but the inclusion of a 3D and 4K disc with the HMV is great value.

The only reason I’m tempted to get the Zavvi steelbook is the resin magnet, and the fact I can get it cheaper on Zoom.
