Zoom are bringing us an exclusive “Star Trek Beyond” lenticular Steelbook release
UPDATE – Zoom have now confirmed the are for the exclusive lenticular cover on their release.
The latest installment in the rebooted Star Trek is getting a UK steelbook release, and Zoom have an exclusive option, which will come with a magnetic lenticular front cover.
We’re told the artwork on the steelbook itself will be the same as the regular steelbook, and it’ll be the same price. The exclusive lenticular cover will have different art, which is still TBC. This Zoom exclusive version is also limited to just 2000 copies.
Release date and final art are still TBC.
Pre-orders will be live from around midnight tonight (Thursday July 21st). Follow us on Twitter for the latest updates.

@Zoom_UK zoom it is then, thanks for update
Choices a lot their are, oh wait thats Star Wars lol?
may the odds be ever in your favour!
@Zoom_UK Awesome, Zoom for the win
Sat patiently in the cinema for it to go live, and for the film to start ?
@Zoom_UK got mine ordered ?
Why is the 2D +3D steelbook without lenticular magnet more expensive than the one with the magnet on zoom?
Either it’s a temp glitch, as they told me it would be same price, or it’s intentional and they want to promote their own release. given they’re identical apart from the lenticular I don’t see any problem with that…
Wellp I ordered both, and will probably order the one from zavvi too, then if there are any changes to the artwork I can choose which I like best and cancel the others
Going to see this next Tuesday :)))
I’m a bit concerned that nowhere on the page does it mention that it’s a steelbook. I’m sure it is because they are listed in the steelbook section but still, it doesn’t inspire confidence.
I had a phone call with Zoom on Thursday afternoon where I was told of the release plans, and, despite what the listing says, I’m assured this *IS* a steelbook
